💡 Why we built this
The domain kotihaku.com has been in our hands for over 10 years.
We always believed it had a clear purpose — but the right moment took time to arrive.
Finland has excellent property sites. But they are almost entirely in Finnish.
For the 500,000+ foreign-born residents living in Finland — and for international
buyers interested in Finnish cottages, lakeside properties, or city apartments — navigating
those sites is a real barrier. We saw this gap and decided to finally do something about it.
In 2025 we built Kotihaku from scratch: a modern, clean, English-language property platform
where anyone can list or browse Finnish (and international) properties without needing to speak Finnish.
For sellers and agents, listing is simple — and at €1 per listing, genuinely affordable.
